Y’all… it is that time of year where everyone starts traveling again! PLUS with COVID19 restrictions being lifted, we are able to safely distance/travel.
Summer is the BEST for vacationing. But that also means… we have to pack for trips. I don’t know about you, but I used to *l o a t h e* packing for trips. Trying to make sure you have enough, but not too much has always been a struggle for this girl. So today I have for you my all-inclusive water/lake/beach packing list!

First, let's go over some important questions you need to ask yourself when you are packing for any trip:
What is the weather going to be like while you are there? Do you have options for if it rains/snows/?
How long are you going to be there? How many nights… days?
What important events will you be attending?
Is there a dress code for any activities you are participating in?
Is there anything *special* you might need?
Next let's look at my ultimate summer trip (lake/beach/water vacay) packing guide before we look at what I packed specifically for this trip:

How I Plan Out an Outfit:
First, I look at how many days/nights we will be there and adjust my outfit planner (which currently is me just writing on a blank piece of paper like so: Saturday Day, Saturday Activity, Saturday Sleep for each day).
Then, I look at exactly what we will be doing each day + the projected forecast.
Once that is done, I write out each outfit!
Then I go through and make sure I don’t have any duplicate items (i.e., if I can sleep in the same outfit twice, I will.)
+ This is what I ended up packing for my lake trip we left for today:
