HAPPY AUGUST, BABES!

Wow, can’t believe it is August. Even with the pandemic, I feel like the year is (thankfully) flying by. I’ve tried out a LOT of new products this past month and wanted to share with y’all what my favorites are. As always, if you have any questions or suggestions let me know! Let’s jump right in.

Kitchen

Liquid IV: I was skeptical… but I love Liquid IV. I’ve been having a harder time drinking my water at work, thanks to my face mask. But this adds a pleasant flavor AND boosts my hydration shop HERE. (PS: I am NOT a LiquidIV partner, and I have tried these out with my own money.)

Straws: This is super silly, but I have noticed that when I drink out of a cup with a straw I drink MORE water than without one! So these have been awesome for me lately! You can buy yours HERE.

Too Faced Powder: Super brightening and light powder that has taken my makeup to another level! Shop HERE

Thrive Causemetics Eyebrow Pencil: A waterproof eyebrow pencil?? SAY NO MORE. I’m into it! It is SO good. The color is a perfect match (I’m wearing Audrey (Dark Blonde - Medium Brunette)), and it really is waterproof. Definitely worth the $$. Buy yours HERE

Skincare

Facial Sun Cream: This is my new FAVORITE facial sunscreen. I love that this is cream because it is moisturizing but not too heavy. It does have a scent, but I found it very pleasant. I topped it off with a powder sunscreen as well to combat oiliness and it definitely worked. I love that it worked well protecting my face and didn't break me out. I also used this on my shoulders because I was out of 50+ SPF but personally preferred it for my face and scalp. It did not leave a noticeable white cast on my face and it easily rubbed in. It was very water-resistant when I used it at the lake and I honestly did not need to reapply until past the 80-minute mark! Shop HERE.
The Ordinary: I found this brand on Skincare with Hiram’s YouTube/Instagram and lemme tell you, I am obsessed! Affordable skincare that is good quality—major heart eyes. I use the Niacinamide 10% shop yours HERE + the Retinol .5% shop yours HERE.

Fashion

Bike Shorts: It took me a MINUTE to get on this fashion trend, but I’ve hopped on and I actually really enjoy it! These are my favorite so far, and come in a pack of 2! I have the black and dark heather grey. They are TTS and I wear a medium! But I will say that they don’t make your tummy look flat lol. Buy them HERE.
